Housing for the retreat is provided on-site at Saint Francis University's Franciscan monastery in Ambialet, France. The university recently acquired this monastery with the goal of bringing it back to life by offering a unique study abroad program for its students as well as artistic, musical, and other progressive programs. The facility rests at the top of a mountain over looking the majestic Tarn River Valley.  To put it mildly, the view is awe-inspiring.

Though the monastery is ancient, the university recently performed a multi-million dollar renovation of the site so that you can enjoy living in history with modern conveniences.

The accommodations are clean and simple with dorm style housing. The main bathroom areas are shared, but all showers and toilets are private with locking doors. Located on-site is a fully functional modern kitchen, (with dining areas) washer/dryer, and free high-speed internet access. 

You will be provided a space in one of 4 double occupancy rooms.  Two single rooms are also available for an additional $150. (First come first serve.)

Humble but clean sleeping quarters. Hardwood floors, sinks, bed, night-stand, wireless internet and you.
